Went back again 35 years after being regular. Not much changed. Great burgers fantastic side order of Chilli. Chips nothing special. This is a must go to for burgers. I live in US and strangely this is better than most US burger joints. Pictures on the wall go back long way including twin towers in New York. 30 years ago was in competition with Dam Yankees. That has gone and this is sole contender to best burger joint in Sheffield. Now a winner. Apparently Dam Yankees second generation did not want to take it on, but Uncle Sam's passed to next generation who keep up the great work. As ever difficult parking
Very good American style dinner, with outstanding burgers! As American as a New Yorker dinner :-p with an American beer. Very friendly staff and good music and decoration. I definitely recommend this dinner.

Love this place - been coming here since my teens - 20 years ago - nothing has changed just the staff. Food fab - burgers, ribs, milkshakes etc - brings out the kid in me!
A Sheffield institution! My Dad took me as a kid so I could watch the toy train overhead and gorge on hot dogs (while he admired the waitresses). Now I take him for the enormous and delicious chilli burgers. No need for dessert - they have lollipops by the till! I know people who prefer Yankees down the road but I will always remain loyal to Uncle Sam's. No idea where the 'Chuck Wagon' bit came from - everyone I know calls it Uncle Sam's.
Perfect for any meat lover! I only ventured in here because it was pouring down with rain and we were hungry but I was glad we did! Good sized portions and very reasonably priced for what you get. The cheese sauce is a bit ace. Staff were busy but helpful and efficient

Yummiest burgers in sheffield! probably why its been there for years. Great prices and the ribs are also exceptionally yummy. Centerally located and always busy.
